👋

Hi, I'm Chris. I'm an artist and design leader in New York. My focus is building tools for creativity and well-being.

A portrait of a cheerful man with a curly hair and beard, smiling widely, showing white teeth. He has dark, short, curly hair, and a groomed beard. Freckles are visible on his face and he's wearing a black crew neck sweater. The background is a warm, neutral tone.

Currently, I lead the design team for emerging video products at Adobe.

I'm passionate about building growth-minded design teams, creating strategic context, cultivating an open and inclusive creative culture, driving zero to industry leading products, sweating the details, and having fun doing it.

At Adobe, I’ve led the design of Acrobat on web, several new workflows in Premiere Pro and After Effects, and the development of new video product lines including Premiere on mobile.

Previously, I was a product designer at the Washington Post Innovation Lab and co-founded Little Tinker, a software and hardware company.

Outside of work, I’m a volunteer meditation facilitator with a local Buddhist sangha, part-time art student at Pratt Institute, and have run over 20 marathons.

I’m currently evaluating art and design university teaching, guest lecturing, critique, and curriculum development opportunities. If you’re interested in having me in your academic setting, please email me,

Because of impermanence, all things are possible.

All you need is love. If it’s not love, let it all go.
